Panama Straw Hat - Grey

Introducing our version of the Panama Hat. Whether you're going to a wedding, brunch date, or the market, this hat is the perfect accent to any outfit! Our take on this classic straw hat features a beautiful warm grey straw and thick charcoal ribbon that blends easily with a variety of color pallets.  This hat is hand-woven with 100% Toquilla Straw, famous for its breathability.  Amongst other things, it's our favorite natural SPF.

+ Brim: 3"

+ Crown: 4.75"

+ Ribbon: 1.5"

+ Hand-crafted in Ecuador

This hat fits true to size.

**Wearing Tip: This hat fits best when you press it down on your head. You will notice that the crown may 'pop-up' slightly - this is perfectly normal.

Here's how to measure your head to determine your hat size: + Wrap a tape measure around the widest part of your head (or around the part of your head where you’d wear the hat). Hold the tape measure tighter for a snug fit and looser for a more spacious fit.

+ You’ll want to measure to the nearest 1/8 inch.

+ Once you have that measurement, find your correct size using the following chart (if you’re between sizes we recommend going up a size):

21"  -  21 7/8"

21 1/4"  -  22"

22 1/4"  -  22 7/8"

23"  -  23 7/8"

Handling: The straw our hats are made with is delicate but easy to preserve by following these instructions:

1. Handle the hat by its brim- the oils in our hands can dry out the straw and cause it to crack over time.

2. Store the hat in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight. We recommend that you store the hat on its crown instead of the brim since storing a hat on its brim can cause it to change shape.

3. Keep it away from water. We do not recommend you wear the hat in the rain as water can cause the straw to soften and change shapes.

4. Steam it at the beginning of every season. You can do this over a pot of boiling water or with a tea kettle. Steaming the hat will keep the straw moisturized and will prevent cracking.

Cleaning: Clean your straw hat with a soft bristled brush.
