Leather Tote - Black

When designing this tote, we wanted to eliminate the three different bags needed to get you through a busy day and the Leather Tote is our solution. We focused on simple and functional design with plenty of room to meet our daily needs.

Starting from the exterior, a large pocket on the front keeps your phone and keys easily accessible. Two large interior pockets provide plenty of room for your wallet, sunglasses, small notepads, and/or chargers to keep things tidy. A removable crossbody strap gives you the option of carrying it on your shoulder or crossbody. The tote is finished off with a metal zipper to avoid the occasional spill out when you tip it over.

Our Totes are hand-crafted with oiled leather - a material known for its durability and low maintenance needs. As the leather ages, it will take on a beautiful and unique patina. If you want to slow the building of the patina, we recommend treating it with a water and stain protector. This will prevent dirt from building up on the bag and help repel water.

Conditioning & Cleaning - Clean your leather piece regularly using a light colored cloth. For a deep clean, use a leather conditioner every 6 months. This will also help keep the leather soft and prevent cracking. We recommend Chamberlain’s Leather Milk Conditioner & Cleaner.

Stains - The sooner you catch a stain the easier it is to treat.  First things first, you'll want to absorb most of the stain on a clean cloth.  Allow it to dry and follow by gently brushing the stain with a nubuck brush.  Water stains will show up dark on the leather but will fade away once fully dried.  In most cases, these do not need to be treated.  For stubborn stains, see a leather specialist.

Storage - Keep out of direct sunlight. Store in a dry place.

A group of artisans craft each piece in a small workshop in the city of leather- Cotacachi, Ecuador.  Learn more about the process here >>
